About the customer

Luminescence Sun Chemical Security (LSCS) manufactures security technologies for customers in over 100 countries. Their goal is to help customers combat the attacks on security documents and brands, which is achieved by providing an extensive range of security inks and components to help keep their customers to stay ahead of the counterfeiter. 

Business Requirement and Customer Challenges

LSCS needed their Salesforce system to accurately reflect not only their products, but also the various currencies they dealt with and to have a clearer understanding of when payments would be made. 

Business Requirements included: 

  • An accurate overview of product range 
  • Ability to monitor currency exchange rates in order to provide accurate reporting over historical sales
  • Create product schedules which were flexible for each customer
  • Easily report on these product schedules in order to understand their sales pipeline
  • Log the territory each account was based in to assist with more detailed reporting
