MariaDB provides pluggable, purpose-built storage engines to support workloads that previously required a variety of specialised databases. MariaDB allows enterprises to eliminate complexity and constraints by using a single complete database on both commodity hardware or a cloud of choice. Business Requirement and Customer Challenges

MariaDB required a way to capture information from prospective and current partners and monitor their progression and status from one easily accessible view. MariaDB also wanted a way to allow partners to login to a branded site where they could view their account and current deals.

Business Requirements included:

  • Create an internal partner process to monitor onboarding progression for each partner
  • Configure a Salesforce partner community which was branded to look like their current MariaDB site
  • Develop a process for partners to be able to apply for courses and track their current completed courses
  • Allow partners to access documents from the portal
  • Configure specific record types and page layouts to clearly identify partners and capture relevant information
  • Set up robust security for a partner user accessing their data within the Salesforce community
  • Create an overview of metrics for the partner to view from the community
