Business Requirement and Customer Challenges

Open Banking Excellence already utilised Salesforce’s Marketing Cloud but had no CRM system in place. They were using Marketing Cloud to store client data and spreadsheets to track opportunities and reports.

Business Requirements included:

  • Full visibility of contacts and accounts
  • Create the link between Sales and Marketing Cloud to give users access to send marketing content when they felt appropriate
  • Manage new, existing and renewal opportunities for clients
  • Create synchronised data extensions to allow Marketing Cloud to access up-to-date Salesforce data
