TSE Power is one of the UK’s leading, totally independent suppliers of emergency standby power systems. TSE services cover the entire range of what you would expect from a manufacturer including site surveys, electrical installations, servicing, short or long term hire systems, battery testing and replacements.

Business Requirement

TSE power needed to manage scalable sales and field service processes. For TSE Power to consider their sales cloud and field service project a success they had to meet five objectives

  • Replace dispatch spreadsheets with a responsive gantt chart
  • Get real time job updates from engineers
  • Replace paper based service reports
  • Increase engineer utilisation and efficiency
  • Replace Excel based sales spreadsheets

Product Overview

Field service lightning was chosen as the end-to-end field service management tool. This enabled TSE Power to move their operations from spreadsheets to the cloud. As a result, TSE could get real time insight into the number of jobs, type of jobs, location of jobs and the status of jobs. Internally this has improved visibility and capacity planning capabilities. Externally customers are now able to sign service reports in person.

Sales cloud was chosen as the tool to manage sales opportunities and quoting. Historically all sales information was contained in the inbox of TSE’s account managers. As a result of moving to sales cloud, TSE Power can manage their opportunities through a custom sales path and produce electronic quotes all within sales cloud. The benefits to TSE are pipeline visibility and a decrease in the time required to generate proposals.
