“Scope of our project was to build a portal using the PRM system from Salesforce for our equipment distributors where we do not have a physical Ellab office. We wanted a system where we would set up an account for a distributor and they would log in and manage their own pipeline from leads, accounts, to opportunities.
We also wanted to expand on this portal with the budget metrics for each distributor provided by the internal Ellab Indirect Sales Team. This would allow the Indirect Sales Managers to be able to see how each distributor is performing and if we would need to revisit our partnership with them
Milo was our main consultant for this project. He was outstanding in building this portal from scratch, while trying to learn the nuances of Ellab’s business model. We did have to change the scope on some parts of the project, and Milo was very clear on what we could and could not reasonably do at this time. He was able to take some of the harder challenges of really restricting sharing for these users and had to pivot to accommodate some of the changes we required.
