About the customer

LEVC’s London Taxi or Black Cab is an integral part of British history, and are proud to be the only manufacturer and retailer of this iconic and distinctly British Motor Vehicle.

LEVC have launched an electric taxi with zero emissions and have a vision to see the iconic Black Cab on the streets of all major cities around the world.

Business Requirement and Customer Challenges

Salesforce has been brought in to manage multiple stakeholders and sales across the dealerships especially for sales of the new electric taxis across the dealership network in the UK.

A simple implementation had been carried out, and Ignyto were brought in to streamline processes and to allow the relationships directly with Drivers, Fleets, and Legislative bodies.

The challenge was to set up a process where leads could be converted into direct customer or Business accounts seamlessly with the relevant opportunities, and to have the correct permissions and assignments in place so that where needed information was locked down at the dealership levels.

LEVC also needed a mechanism with which to receive leads from Enquiry Manager including their web leads.

Reporting on key business KPI’s and activities was also important for management information and to manage activities so a suite of reports and dashboards were created.

  • Integration with Enquiry Manager (3rd party tool)
  • Upgraded to Enterprise Edition in order to deploy code to take web leads and map to Lead fields on a regular sync

Results

  • Greater efficiencies in terms of user experience and much greater visibility of sales from reporting and clearer structure of objects.
  • Ability for dealers to use Salesforce to manage their sales pipeline when receiving web leads and for management to have visibility that dealers are responding in a timely manner to enquiries.
