Recently, a close friend of an Ignyto team member got some very unfortunate news after feeling ill for some time. Luke was diagnosed with B Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma – a cancer of the lymphatic system. Luke, just 23 years old was high on life in Vancouver, Canada before a shocking turn of events leaves us desperately trying to raise money to get him home and pay for the astronomical medical bill, exceeding $200k, for his treatment so far. The original gofundme for this (linked below) has seen fantastic support which all of his friends and family are beyond proud of but we do need more.
To help raise funds and awareness of Luke’s situation, The Ignyto team are collectively going to walk the distance between Dublin and London during the month of February. This equates to almost 600km and will be shared among the Ignyto team Every cent raised from this will contribute to the existing funds to help Luke overcome this together. All money raised as part of this walk will be generously matched by Ignyto (to a maximum of €7500).
